Meet Kristen
Kristen Andre, R.SLP, CLSP
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Certified Lactation Support Provider (CLSP)
Kristen is a wife, mom of three, Speech-Language Pathologist, and Certified Lactation Support Provider with a focus on newborn, infant, and pediatric feeding and swallowing.
Kristen was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. She earned her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma in 2012. She has extensive experience supporting communication and feeding challenges in children with complex disabilities. In addition to her CLSP, she is also a certified SOS trained feeding therapist.
Since gaining her SOS (Sequential - Oral - Sensory Approach to Feeding) certification, Kristen has worked with a wide range of children, supporting families through a variety of feeding challenges. She has experience helping children with sensory sensitivities, extreme picky eating, and feeding resistance. Kristen approaches each child with empathy, curiosity, and evidence-based strategies, creating a supportive environment where kids can build confidence and positive experiences with food.
When Kristen’s niece was born with severe oral ties that made feeding a daily struggle, she witnessed just how deeply it affected the entire family. Watching a baby work so hard just to eat, while seeing the emotional toll it took on the whole family, was heartbreaking. That experience opened Kristen’s eyes to the lack of support available for families dealing with infant feeding challenges, especially when oral ties are involved. With her background and skills, she knew she was in a unique position to help. Since then, she’s developed a strong passion for guiding families through their feeding journeys and making a real difference in their lives.
Kristen’s dedication to continued learning has led her to pursue extensive post-graduate training. She is a Certified Lactation Support Provider and has developed specialized expertise in pediatric feeding disorders and oral motor treatment for infants and toddlers. She has also completed in-depth training in the area of Tethered Oral Tissues. Kristen is committed to staying up to date with evidence-based best practices and actively seeks out advanced education to enhance the quality of care she provides.
Kristen is dedicated to providing support and guidance to families to help them meet their feeding goals!
